The Pinnacles, Lancelin & Yanchep National Park

The Pinnacles, Lancelin & Yanchep National Park

Explore two of natures marvels; the Pinnacles Desert and Lancelin Sand Dunes, learn about the local multi-million dollar lobster industry at The Lobster Shack, and get a close look at koalas, kangaroos and native birdlife at Yanchep National Park.

Departing from your Perth hotel at 8am, we travel north to the Wedge Lookout where views extend out across the Indian Ocean and Wedge Island. From here, we continue north to The Pinnacles, where you can walk along the yellow sand amongst the stunning limestone formations unique to the area. The Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre explains the cultural and natural heritage of the area, and the geology of the Pinnacles formations through various displays, soundscapes and videos.

Our next stop is the Lobster Shack in Cervantes. Here you can gain an insight into the local multi-million dollar lobster industry on the optional factory tour, then enjoy a delicious lunch (at own expense) of locally caught seafood while relaxing right beside the Indian Ocean.

We then travel south to the fishing town of Lancelin and the iconic pure white sand dunes. The more adventurous can try sandboarding or quad-biking, while those looking for something less demanding can enjoy a scenic buggy tour or simply take in the scenery.

Our last stop on the way back to Perth is the Yanchep National Park, where you can get a close look at the resident koalas, local Western Grey kangaroos and native birds before we travel express back to your hotel, arriving approximately 7pm.
